Collection options
Different buildings.
Two practical setups.
The same destination: your property’s dumpster or compactor. Your existing hauler then takes the waste off site.
Pickup at the door.
- Residents
- Set out tied household-trash bags at their doors, following the arrangements agreed for the property.
- Capital Valet
- Collects on agreed days and moves bags to your designated dumpster or compactor.
- Agreed for your community
- Containers, set-out times, collection days and frequency. There is no universal doorstep rule or equipment package.
Pickup near the building.
- Residents
- Place tied bags in lidded carts at agreed locations, whenever the property’s rules allow.
- Capital Valet
- Empties the carts on agreed days and takes the bags to your designated dumpster or compactor.
- Agreed for your community
- Cart locations, equipment and collection frequency. Resident deposits and scheduled collection are different steps.

Who does what
A clear division of work.
Capital Valet handles
- Collection and transfer on the agreed schedule.
- Cleanup of spills caused by our collections.
- Our missed pickups and shared-bin capacity issues.
The property keeps
- Receiving-container arrangements and off-site hauler costs.
- Full dumpster or compactor issues with its hauler.
- Community rules and lease enforcement. We issue no resident fines.
Recycling, broader dumped waste, recurring cleaning and equipment need an agreed scope. View rates and exceptions →
When something needs attention
A missed pickup has a next step.
If a scheduled pickup is missed, Capital Valet notifies the designated property manager the same day and makes it up by the following calendar day, excluding Sundays. If severe weather or an emergency prevents safe collection, collection moves to the next practicable safe day, with reasonable efforts to give advance notice.
